Juanda Posted April 24, 2017 Report Share Posted April 24, 2017 The IA in Language B it is divided in two parts and it counts a 30% of the final mark. 20% is the individual oral activity, and the 10% are the additional oral activities. Nomenclature Posted April 25, 2017 Report Share Posted April 25, 2017 Language B is an exception in that part of the external is actually written during the course. IB makes it clear that the writing of this is to be done without consultation of dictionaries or other learning materials. I believe SL is 350-450 words and HL is 450-600 words. The SL and HL are very different and students are expected to follow the requirements of whichever assignment they're doing. The internal is just oral though, and the 20% that @Juanda mentioned pertains to your 10 minute conversation with your teacher, and the other 10% is just your teacher grading you holistically on your use of the target language every day in class.
