Klucis
I'm in the process of writing both my extended essay in History and my History IA. I know that an even younger than 10 years in the past can not be investigated. The question is: Can I use sources published after 2006 (10 years ago) in my investigation or do the sources also have to be older than 10 years? IB_taking_over
Sources can be as recent as you want. Reply
Gaurav19
I dont know about the EE, but for the IA, you should have some primary sources, which are created during the event. So say you are doing the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki (like me), then your primary sources would be from 1945-ish. I'm unsure about secondary sources though.
