Guest Ahned
Is it obligatory to mention a purpose of the study conducted in the informed consent even though it could affect the results? Reply
Bryan Hu
Well, do you need deception to achieve your results? You could always inform them of the true purpose of the study when you debrief them. They also might act in ways that affect your results even if you tell them like trying to act a certain way to be an outlier or something.
