klhollomon
Dumb question, but I am new lol. What are the stars for next to people's name and how do you get them? Thanks in advance
bluedino
The star next to a user's name signifies that the member is a VIP rather than just a regular member. If you check out the first question +here it'll tell you about becoming a VIP - (basically you can pay a subscription fee or be a helpful member around the forums). Hope this helps!

Emmi
The number of stars you have relates to how many reputation points you have around the forum. When you post, and other people like your post (either think it's helpful, funny, informative, or for whatever reason) they can like the post, giving you a reputation point. The more points you have, the more stars you get. One small star equals ten reputation points, and one big star equals one hundred reputation points.
