LikeA'13OSS
Are there any guidelines for using books translated from other languages to english for an english A1 EE? Is it even allowed? Thanks Reply
flinquinnster
I think there are guidelines - I'm just going off the IB EE guide. Category 1 is for texts written originally in English, whereas Category 2 allows you to compare a text originally written in a language other than English with one that was originally written in English. If you have access to the EE guide (which I'm presuming you do) then I think you'll find more detail on it, but essentially at least one of the texts in the EE has to have been written originally in English. Masoomali fatehkia
According to what I know the text/s have to be in English but I think you can use a translated text only if you are using it together with another text written originally in English.
