Hey future ib colleagues, I’m the next victim of IB! Its that time in my life where I actually have to think about what I want to be in life. I HAVE NO IDEA. Teachers are commanding (I’m over exaggerating a bit) subject choices for IB. I chose subjects that interested me other than actually dying and trying to figure out what career I want. Here it is: Higher level: Chemistry Arabic Psychology Standard level: Math English Physics can people who took these topics give me advice? Also what career can I get out of these choices??? Help!!!!

Hi all, So I'm now half way through my final year and I am the only IB Art student in my grade, my teacher seems to know absolutely nothing about the IB and keeps telling me to do it similarly to the OP system the other students are doing (a Queensland education programme, Australia). I can't help but feel like my comparative study is completely wrong, but the IB being the IB theres practically no help online that I can find. I am very worried about failing the IB due to the lack of any help at all from my teacher. If anyone knows anything about the CS or has any tips abo

Do you also have this type of teachers, which clearly do not care if you can handle the work they give? Sometimes, they give homework as if we did not have other classes, and it is becoming overwhelming, even though I'm only in my first year of IB, but with IAs all coming at once in all the subjects... It is really becoming stressful. Do you,or have you felt the same way as me?

Hello, I'm in my first year of IB and I am starting on my EE. I'm interested in crimes and criminals, so I chose Psychology as my topic. The thing is that there isn't an IB psychology class in my school. Whenever I choose a topic (I've gone through several - like psychopaths, motives, currently on neuroscience and basis of criminological behaviour) my teacher tells me that maybe I should change my perspective - as in change my subject because he knows I'll be interested as long as my topic's related to crimes and criminals. I'm really not sure what I should do though. Every question I come u

Do our teachers for each of our IB subjects receive our results from the exams? And if so, do they receive the overall mark, the mark for the subject or exactly what we received from the IB candidates website?

So, my teachers in my IB program are kind of freaking me out. They say that "nobody gets a 7" on the IB tests, and that I will be lucky if I get a 6. I would really like to achieve higher marks, not necessarily straight 7's, but I would like to at least get a few 6's and perhaps a 7 (I'm okay with lower marks, but I don't want to perform consistently low). What can I do to ensure that I can get the scores that they say are impossible? Is there a way?

My classmates and I are planning to write an official complaint to the IBO about our school after final exams. Thigs like not completing the full curriculum, doing works in Language A that are in the wrong category, not providing teachers with IB qualifications, and so on. But, one group didn't do the Group 4 Project, the teacher just gave them marks based on how much he likes the students. This is a huge thing and the teacher would definitely face consequences if the IBO found out, but what about the students? Would their diplomas be revoked or something? We really want this ****ty, ****ty sc
