Hello guys, I feel kind of screwd cuz I'm writing my reflective statement in Swedish right now and have not the brightest idea about how to formulate or write it. We've already written two before but we cannot get any response from our teacher because 'IB says so' so I was wondering if you have any tips that I might use while writing a reflective statement

Hello, I am starting my IB program this year and I was wondering, in order to take Language B (either SL or HL) do I have to know this language beforehand? I will be attending school in Sweden, however, I am not from there nor have I spent more than a month there. I am planning on taking Spanish HL (I have been studying Spanish for four years) and I really want to learn Swedish. So is it possible to learn a language without having an experience in target language? Thanks in advance!💘

Hi! I currently have an urgent issue. In Sweden there will be a change next year that will make it near impossible to apply to universities here. We still have time (ca 3 weeks) to influence this and hopefully stop them. The change will mean that to get into medical school for example at Lund uni it will take 44 points, which is crazy compared to Oxford's standard offer of 38 points. They are saying that 45p (IB) = 20,0 (Swedish) which is not true because many Swedish students get 20,0 but only 24 IB students out of ca 11 000 has gotten a 45 in Sweden in the past 10 years. I am about to enter the IB DP programme by the end of this summer. Having to choose subjects, I am pondering wether to study English B or English A2 (language and literature). Swedish is my first language and I will study Swedish A2. English is my second language but I am fairly good at it and it has always been one of my stronger subjects.
