Hi everyone, I am currently studying in Year 12 (Grade 11) and I'm wondering when do I apply. I visited many different Canadian unis website but all I can see is dates and deadline. Do I apply during my senior year or after my graduation? Because I see IB general requirement for a score to be eligible to apply, but wouldn't that be finalized after my graduation? Another concern that I have is that if I have to use my predicted score to apply this post-2019, I wouldn't get accepted since I'm going to be honest, my first term score is horrible: Mathematics SL 3, Computer Science HL 4, Eng -
Okay so I'm in 10th grade going into JR year after this summer and I'm doing the IB obvi these classes are set - HL - PSYC and SL - Mandarin and Lang & Lit Now I'm deciding between where to place math (ive always been good at math getting A's but last year I didn't pay much attention and barely got an A (also my school doesnt have A-'s so i wouldve gotten a B+)) Then after that I have to decide where to place chem and if i should take bio or physics (still in limbo are chem, bio or physics and math ) - HOW hard are these classes I took AP US history

Hi! I'm a pre-ib sophomore and I'm new here. I need to decide my subjects for next year soon, and I want to make sure I choose the best classes for me. My main questions are what I should take for my sixth subject and whether I should take Math HL or Math SL. I plan on taking Bio SL, Spanish B HL, History of the Americas HL, Math SL or HL, English SL or HL, and French ab intio online or something else as a sixth subject. The only sixth subject options at my school I believe are Econ HL and Visual Arts HL. I found pamoja and saw that they have online options for sixth subjects. I love lang

Hi everyone! So we're choosing our classes for next school year (I'll be a junior, first year in the IB program) and I'm a little uncertain about what I should take. Right now I've got a tentative schedule planned out: IB EnglishIB HistoryIB Physics SLIB SpanishAP BC CalculusIB Theory of KnowledgeIB EconomicsThis feels like a pretty heavy class load, so I'm wondering if anyone can give me advice/info on any of these classes and whether I should drop a class?? Hello IBSurvival.com, I recently just got an account here and wanted to ask my fellow IBs for some help... I was wondering what you do as soon as you get home, I have this constant problem of going on the interwebs everytime I get home and waste time doing that, I just want to get home, eat, and then work. Hey all, I'm going to take the DP next year, but I'm still not sure about my subject choices. So far this is what I have, but I've been thinking about changing some subjects. English A Lit HL Indonesian A Lit SL Math SL Biology HL Psychology HL Theatre SL Corporate law is one of my possible university majors, so my counsellor said I should take BM (instead of theatre), but I've heard that it's considered a "soft" subject, is it true and if so would taking Econ be better? I took theatre because I want to take a post-grad in theatre directing, and I genuinely enjoy theatre -- would BM/Econ

I've just got my schedule for this year and I have long days and some early mornings - do you have any tips on how I can keep my energy up after a long day in school (when I will be studying) and how to basically just plan my day after my schedule?? (and how should I find time for CAS?? Should I try to do much on weekends or what?? :/ I'm totally confused, I know! )

So I'm new here and I'm really not sure this is in the right topic but I'm a raising junior and I'm starting IB in August and I'm still debating on my schedule: HL: Bio Arabic Psychology (or maybe Econ) SL: Chem English Math I'm hoping to do medical when I graduate. I can't decide if I should take psych or Econ cause in our school psych is apparently the hardest ib class you can take from the humanities once. Hi, I'm a 1st year IB student who is taking Economics HL. So this is the second semester, about 3rd quarter, and I'm deciding to change to Psychology HL, just because my Econ teacher is really bad and he often doesn't know what he is doing. I won't care if this subject was not Economics, because other courses don't require so much help from the teachers but I think in Economics teachers are very important.. I'm preparing to enroll for classes next year, and I've decided to complete the IB Diploma. I know what I want to take, but I'd like a few opinions as to whether or not it's too much. I was wondering if this IB Diploma Schedule would be sufficient. My strengths are definitely English and Social Science, I relatively easily keep an A average in AP European History. Since we have such a mixture of countries, cultures and personalities on IB Survival, I was really interested in knowing how your day usually goes! Here's how my day went today (it doesn't have to be right to the minute- I'm just procrastinating here): 7:00- Alarm rings 7:10- Convince myself I have ten more minutes 7:30- Wake up shocked at the time. Hey guys, I've just started my first year of the DP, and I'm loving it! I'm just having a few problems picking HLs and SLs for next year. I'd really love to go into anthropology or sociology, something to do with humanities. So far, I've chosen my HLs- French, History, and Language A1 (required by my school:P).
