Ok, I honestly doubt that anyone will even see this, but I’m really worried... Im in 7th grade IB, and I wasn’t in IB in Elementary, so I’m a complete newbie, and I don’t know the rules all that well. We’re about to finish up the first semester, and I’m failing two of my classes. First quarter it was just one class but now it’s two. I’m only failing because i haven’t turned in almost any of my assignments, and I’m barely realizing how bad that effected my grade now. I know a student that got kicked out of the program, so I know that it’s possible to get kicked out and not just

Or at least....I am so goddamn scared I'm going to. My Math IA was due tonight and I turned it in but it's so bad. I am so terrified that I will not graduate (or more realistically, I will graduate but without my IB diploma.) I know people who usually say this are people who realistically, are doing much better than they think but that's not me. Seriously, I used to be a good student but I've become this horrible procrastinator to the point where I put off real LEGITIMATE IB-DIPLOMA necessary **** like TOK essay to the day before. Like ****, my CSS profile I am submitting tomorrow and i

Help! I'm completelly losing myself in the IB
24JoseFerreira posted a topic in General IB Discussion
Hey IB students and teachers! I am a student from Portugal and completely new to this website. I have come in search for help! I had a pretty easy life throughout school here in Portugal (PYP and MYP were basic!) and suddenly the IB comes, and hits me as hard as a tsunami.... My choices were and are: Biology HLChemistry HLPsychology HLEnglish Lang and LitSpanish Ab initioMaths StandardI am losing myself in these choices. I mean my languages are fine, should get a 6 or a 7 for both, but the rest is too hard. I'm losing track already. Mid term 1, I currently have a 2 for Chem, 3 for Biology -
So, I just finished grade 10 pre-IB and am now days away from the real thing... and I'm terrified. Is full IB do-able? (please give me reassurance).

Hi, I'm new to the forum and I am in IB in junior year. The deadline for my extended essay research question and supervisor signature is coming up on April 9,2014 and i'm scared. My biology teacher just gave us our IA topic and I chose to do mine on Plant germination. The problem is, my extended Essay topic is on plant growth and i'm scared that they are similar. Is seed germination and plant growth too similar?

Hey everyone, I am in year 11 at an IB school in Australia, I really really hate my school so I am thinking of moving next year for my final year. I was wondering if anyone had done this because I am really scared and feel like maybe I should just stay at the school I hate and get an average grade rather than to move. My best friends go to the school I want to move to and they tell me that IB is badly organised at their school and I am worried that my Extended Essay topic and discipline might have to change or that I might not finish it by the deadline? I am so scared it isn't funny. By the

Hi guys, I'm Sam and as the title suggest, I'm freaking scared of IB which is starting next week for me. Did the MYP for middle school, and it was a breeze, love essays and reports to tests anyday. Are there any threads that can help alleviate my fears by 'cheat codes' or prep notes? Thanks all, and any replies are appreciated! I'm considerably scared for the math exam. It's my first IB exam which adds to the anxiety I feel like i'm going to fail Also, my teacher hasn't even told us our predicted grades which she said she would do a while back... How hard is the exam? What were your scores (and how hard did you study for it)? Thanks
