Hello, fellow IB students and survivors. I was talking to my old IB mate the other day about, how there are things from the IB that we actually miss... I know it's strange. It inspired me to write this little piece about how I think of the IB 2 years after graduating. Which subject according to the overall experience is better? Both of business SL and ess fit my other choice of subjects (engineering is my track btw) I just need to hear other people's opinions about each. When it comes to the IAs, content, etc. so that I'll be aware of all of the aspects before finalizing any decision. YOUR REPLY WOULD BE APPRECIATED!

My subjects are English Lit HL French SL Economics HL Chemistry SL Maths SL Biology HL all my teachers are telling me not to do the EE in their respective subject because it's too difficult, too much stress, marked harshly etc. Which is a bit disheartening because I have no clue what to choose. We have to put in two preferences (2 subjects), so I was wondering what you've heard/experienced doing an EE in these subjects. Any opinion would help so much!!!

this is my first time and i thought of this research question. "How acidic are different types of canned coffee" is it okay or is it too dumb? cuz it sounds too dumb but i cant think of any other stuff thats not dumb. any brief suggestions of RQs? thanks;)

Hey guys, just wondering... which of the 6 Math HL core topics did you find the most difficult? 1) Algebra 2) Functions and equations 3) Circular Functions and Trigonometry 4) Vectors 5) Statistics and Probability 6) Calculus I am aware of the fact that this differs from person to person. Thanks

I was having this discussion today with someone and was wondering what you guys think. So, is there a true and undeniable difference between being a realist or a pessimist? Or are they actually the same thing, but seen in different lights?
