May 2014 Notes for BM Case Study (2014)?
melon lord posted a topic in Economics and Business & Management
Hey guys! I was going to start preparing for paper 1 but unfortunately there aren't many resources online So I thought this may be a good platform to share notes/ideas/tips for the May 2014 case study For example, the case study focuses on the conflicting leadership style of Susan and Martin quite a lot. That is a possible question, as is the comparison of the three options. Any other ideas? Most of us are not too familiar with this paper, so its best to get all the help that we can! -
I am really stuck on how to solve these questions and I don't understand why the mark scheme says that the answers for question 8, 12 and 14 are A, A and D, respectively. I would greatly appreciate any help/suggestions/tips!! These questions are from the Paper 1 in May 2018 Timezone 2.

Are the November Exams harder than the May ones? Is it the difficulty of the actual exam, or the grade boundaries? or a misconception? I'm saying this because the grade boundaries for IGCSE additional math (0606) the November ones considerably higher than the may ones... and I'm thinking whether I should switch to another school because I cannot stand my current school eek

Hi, I'm starting IB soon but lately I've heard rumours about the IB finals- where apparently the November papers are easier than the May papers. Is this true and why so? Thanks!

Hey! I need to get a research question and I am interested to become a Veterinarian and I want to do an IA connected to it, however, I am confused on the topic I can do for my biology IA.

Hey Guys, I haven't seen any news about the new IB History curriculum that started in the May session 2017. Was wondering if it was any different from previous history courses, and what advice any post-IB students would give to those sitting History in November!! Cheers

Hi guys, so basically I am going to take exams in May, but I am worried about Biology. Even though it is just SL, I still cannot find myself to like it whatsoever - I tried to watch videos online, visit webpages like BioNinja, where it is pretty simple, but I always found it too boring and either fell asleep or studied a different subject. I have English A HL LL, Czech A Literature and Geography HL. These are quite simple and I do not have to study for them much. Math Studies I basically revise, do past papers and use the questionbank. German B is also okay, and I find if fun actually. I

Why not only rely on past papers? In my opinion, the best preparation with past papers is not to look over mark scheme. Essentially, as the name suggests, mark schemes only aim to aid teachers to mark student’s work on his paper. Not only does it lack with the detailed explanation, but also students lose their opportunity to encounter real IB style questions if they rely too much on mark scheme. For section A questions it relatively gives a good explanation; for Section B questions, however, when things get lengthy, explanations tend to be very concise and often do not make sense fo

Hi! I'd like to upload a daily quiz for maths HL and SL students to prepare for their upcoming exams! Each day will be based on topics, so I decided to upload a topic 3 related questions for today [Wed]. Feel free to share your answer/ask a question for hint! I like this question a lot as it not only deals with sector area, but also some trigonometric identities. Standard Section A question! Enjoy http://imgur.com/a/uJTJs

So there is a May session and a November session for the IB external assessment as I know, but do you take both sessions???? or do you get to choose one of them???? I am getting so confused. Wouldn't it be so unfair as people in May session get so much more time for preparation and what do people in November session do after they finish their exam? Aren't they basically done with IB? Someone pls help with my confusion! I am so so so confused!

So I'm trying to find a IB May 2017 exam schedule to compare with the 2017 AP exam schedule so I'll know what exams I can take and when, and I've found this one. I've found this same schedule on multiple school websites, but is it the official one?

I have unfortunately found this on the internet. Is it the real May 2017 timetable officially announced by IBO ??? Thank you

Hi guys! Anyone sitting the SL ITGS exams next week? How's the revision going? I was also wondering if the examiners accept answers which are not on the mark scheme but are pretty sensible and relevant. How strict do they mark? Any ex-ITGS students have any tips? How harsh do they mark?

Hey all! Chemistry Exam is in less than 20 days this May. IB chemistry is amongst the subjects with the most diverse and heavy content, each interlocking with one another. However, my problem that my teacher pointed out is not being able to use my knowledge in various topics. For example if acids and bases tied up with redox reactions, I will get nervous and not being able to answer as well. How do you revise for IB Chemistry Exam? Do you have any advice for me?

Guys, I feel terrible before the exams- all previous year I was preparing to the important boxing championship, so I didn't studied anything in Biology, and our Economics teacher is just terrible- on our mock exams no one had more than 4! But the biggest problem is Biology, I don't remember and actually understand anything. I wonder if anyone has some useful links for preparation to Biology?
