hey. im planning on making study groups for IB students so that we could help each other because im currently struggling and have a feeling that many other people also need help. Im currently in IB1 and take these subjects: HLs: Physics, Design tech, Arabic B. SLs: English Lang + Lit, Math AI, Economics. I think insta would be a good platform for making a gc !!?? ill make separate gcs for different subjects so that we can share resources, explanations and ideas. Thanks!

Hi all, I'm thinking of doing my Math IA (I take Applications and Interpretations at the standard level) on the correlation between two factors, using Pearson's Correlation Coefficient and Chi-Squared Test and perhaps as an extension comparing the precision between these two methods. Is this too simple, or can I still score well (as in a 6/7) in the mathematical understanding aspect? Cheers.

I'm having a hard time deciding on a topic for my math IA which I'm supposed to start working on next month. I thought of the golden ratio but I feel like that is a very common topic and would not make my IA stand out. Ive been in the state board upto my sophomore year and this transitioning has been hard as I haven't ever explored practical topics in mathematics. Any ideas for broad topics that I could research on? P.S - I'm interested in subjects like media studies, fashion design, advertising and psychology. Thank you!!

Hey guys. I’m doing my investigation on the correlation between football clubs’ transfer spend and their results. I’ve collected a significant amount of data but I think that my work is too basic and would want to incorporate some complex mathematical equations. Please help. Thank you MATH AI, SL student here, btw

My teacher has this same question about the marking of Math paper 1 and 2 with correct significant figures. In the marking scheme, it saids "If the level of accuracy is specified in the question, a mark will be allocated for giving the final answer to the required accuracy. When this is not specified in the question, all numerical answers should be given exactly or correctly to three significant figures." Does this mean that I get full credit if I write 1.45378 while the answer key is 1.45(3 Sig), (1.4537893838...) ? Please help.
