Hi everyone, I currently have a dilemma about my IB predicted grades. I'm planning to apply to Ivies, and some other top unis in the US and my school wants to predict me 45 points. However, I'm terribly scared that I will mess up the final exams, achieve lower than 45 and perhaps getting rejected (getting my acceptances revoked) because I achieved lower than that. I know that it doesn't happen often, but it's still possible for US unis to reject me if I drop significantly. So, should I keep 45 or ask my school to lower it a bit? (I know they'll be fine with it as the counselor already tol

Hello, what subject choices would be more acceptable for a business major in a competitive/elite university in the US(Ivy's) or the UK My current subjects: HL: English Literature, Business Management, Biology SL: Math Standard, Language Acquisition B Indonesian, Economics Should I change it to: HL: English Literature, Business Management, Math SL: Environmental Societies and Systems (ESS), Language Acquisition B Indonesian, Economics *my school doesn't offer economics HL, and math HL isn't really mandatory for business, but biology HL isn't either, and both

IB Subject Choices for Business Majors in Competitive Schools

Hi, so my subject choices are currently HL: Bio, Business Management, English Lit SL: Lang B, Economics, Math *my school doesn't offer economics hl For a competitive university in the US or UK, would it be okay if I take HL: Lang B, Business, English Lit SL: Biology or ESS?, Economics, Math or should I keep my current subject choices? I don't know if I should keep Biology HL since I'm not sure if I really need it - and I wouldn't know what to replace it with. - Does the Ivy League look more on subject choices or the total IB score/predicted?? -
Is this subject combo good enough if I want to study econ at top uni's in the US. Econ hl Bio hl english l&l hl Swedish L&l math sl physics sl I want to keep my options open, hence why Im doing bio and econ hl. will it orherwise suffice for ivy's anyway? Is it too "all over the place" and unclear or does it show that i am well rounded+ "strong" in many areas? As of now i am in grad 11th of ibdp ,I am looking for undergrad program in ivy league's relating to economic in major, The hitch i am having is are the combination of my subject good enough to get me there. Math, Eco,BnM (Hl) and for (Sl) Eng,Hindi, Chem. My second confusion is what score should i be aiming at? (If these combination is Good), To add more I have given three honors exam in Math, and one for Creative writing Please Advise...
