Hey! My schools scheduling is all weird this year and this somehow manifested in me getting into an SL Spanish class full of only native speakers and me. Last year I got by well in Spanish, but that class was probably 50% English and there were other students at my level of fluency. This year, the class is almost entirely in Spanish. I'm only two days in, but I'm only catching maybe 50% of what is happening in the class at any given time. Is there any sure fire way to improve my listening comprehension as quickly as possible?

I’m currently in pre ib and I’m doing relatively well in most of my classes. Currently I have a C in French 2 although it isn’t failing I have not been improving at all and this score will only go down. I’ve studied my arse off and tried attention in class but I can’t retain the material. Also the teacher doesn’t speak any English in class only French, which is probably the right way to teach foriegn langague but I can’t understand. Anyways I think I’m pretty boned and I’m pretty sure there’s no way to get the diploma without foreign language. So... any suggestions on what I should do. I could

I am a Pre-DipCan, and I plan to take English HL, Psych Hl, and History HL, along with Mathematics SL, Anthropology SL, and Environmental Systems and Societies. I have one spot open for senior year, and I am not sure if I should take Business Management or French??? Also I don't know whether to take ESS or Anthro, Junior year? Any help would be great!

Hello, in a few weeks I will be starting the IB and would just like to know what I am going to get myself into in terms of Mandarin. In GCSE, I have done Mandarin as a foreign language (A/A* I haven't got my grade back yet but that is my prediction) and now in IB I am planning to choose Mandarin B SL. I already understand that this will be an extremely large 'jump' from GCSE to IB, but was just wondering how big this 'jump' will be. Do you think it would be extremely hard to survive in Mandarin B SL and does anyone been in my situation? Would love to get some tips and advice. Thanks
