IA (HL) IA – Elliptic Curve Cryptography
VÃctor RamÃrez posted a topic in Maths HL & FurtherHi guys! I didn't want to focus my IA on a really common topic, so related to my ITGS EE I came up with the idea of elliptic curve cryptography. Although I can develop this topic a lot in an exploratory basis, I don't know how to set the main aim of the IA (which could be, for example, a demonstration of some theorem or the elaboration of a system, both based on ECC). Any ideas? Thank you a lot!

JMo posted a topic in Extended EssayHello everyone! I'm freaking out about my extended essay and I was hoping someone might be able to help me. I decided to change my extended essay topic this summer leading into senior year (very stupid of me, I know), and I am doing my extended essay on cryptography and the role of signals intelligence in WWII. Math EE - RSA
yowayowashi posted a topic in Extended Essayso.. hi! Turns out that I was the only guy crazy enough to do an EE on math in my grade so here I am.... My EE is roughly about proofing the RSA cryptosystem with applications of the discrete logarithm problem, the diffie-hellman key exchange, euler's totient, fermat's little theorem, and more.. My supervisor said it's quite risky to write an essay of trying to proof as i can end up plagiarizing if im not careful with my wording.. what do you guys think? should i change my question instead or? progress wise, I think i'm also a little bit behind with meeting my deadlines :|
