Hey guys. I am taking Math AASL. I submitted my first draft and everything. My Math IA is based on finding a correlation (if any) between the average speed of 2 the 2 fastest NFL wide receivers per team, and these teams' win rates. I am evaluating only the 17 teams with the highest win rates. I have tried to find a linear regression, and a polynomial regression. However, the teacher said that its all good, she just hasn't marked me full marks in any of the criteria which is fine if they're all marked at least a 5. She also mentioned that maybe i can fit 1 or two more analysis tools.

I want to do my Math IA in correlation, and I'm planning to look into the correlation between drinking age and drunk driving accidents in different countries but I cant find any reliable source or efficient data at all! does anyone know of a website that offer such data? I'm also considering to look into the correlation between drug use and poverty or drug use and crime rate or something in that filed. Is that appropriate? And does anyone know of a database or website that offer such data? Many thanks in advance!

I am doing my Math studies IA on the relationship between two variables and I have a moderate positive correlation, but after I did my chi-square test my chi-square value was smaller than my critical value, where I have to reject the alternative hypothesis which concludes that the variables are independent of each other. Is this possible or am I wrong?

Hello peoples! I'm doing my Maths IA on the correlation between age and screentime, and I'm not quite sure what I should put into the introduction portion of the IA. How long should it be? I've written about a hundred words for it now, referencing people's ability to use technology, the relation of this to screen time, and the elderly's capabilities in the usage of technology which brings in the age aspect of my study. Would this kind of progression be acceptable? What else do I need? EDIT: Also, how do I add that "IA" flair that some posts have? Or does a mod have to do it?

Help me with this example: Is there a causation between cancer and smoking or just a strong correlation? is it a causation if smoking will always cause a physical change in your cells, which in turn causes cancer, or is it a causation between smoking and causing a change in your cells but not between smoking and getting cancer, because there are many other factors (immunity, genes, etc.) that determine whether you are going to develop cancer at all. hope you get what im saying, cheers
