Okay, so. I got accepted to the IB this year and am going to start high school this fall. However, and don’t make fun of me for this, despite being like 14 I have a boyfriend, and hobbies, and friends. None of which have anything to do with the program. Thing is, I don’t want to sacrifice my teenage years for a good score on the IB test, or give everything up for a chance at MIT. I want to be happy outside of school, and knowing myself, my time management skills, and my pending adhd test result, i might end up absolutely drowning in schoolwork and losing the social life, or doing animation and

Hi everyone, I just started year 12 this week. Unsure of what I wanted to do in the future, I chose HL Chem, Bio, Econ and SL Eng Lang Lit, Chinese B and Math AA. Now that I have had at least one session with each subject, I'm really starting to doubt my choices. Firstly, I dont really know what career would require the 3 HL's that I have chosen. I know that Chem and bio would be good for medicine but I believe that HL Math was important to have as well. Furthermore, I dont have any desire to study medicine, nor do I think that I am smart enough for medicine, and to do well in these subj

So I am in the first year of IB and have been doing Psychology HL on Pamoja (self-taught) for approximately half a year and have not made any progress. I am very lazy but recently decided to actually start working. Now I don't really know where to start. Any advice? perhaps about which ressource I should be using?

hello whoever is reading this ~ i’m in bit of a situation regarding my ee :(( for my ee i’m doing literature, and originally my topic was on dystopian novels. I was going to compare/contrast modern dystopian novels (like the hunger games, divergent, and maze runner) with old/classic dystopian works (like 1984). But as i was looking into it more i saw that 1984 (and the hunger games too for that matter) was overdone and cliche. And plus i tried reading 1984 over the summer and i didn’t finish it (im srry if im offending anyone! I just wasn’t feelin it). Anyways i decided to change my topic
