Hello, I have been an IB Physics teacher for several years and I started creating videos for my students and for my Physics website (PaperPlainz.com). I started uploading some of them on Youtube and I just wanted to let you know that you can watch them here. I am continually working on videos, practice questions and other IB Physics materials, so keep checking for new resources from time to time. Have a nice day, Peter

Hello IB Physics Students, I just wanted to let you know that we added a full-length Paper 2 SL and a full-length Paper 2 HL practice exam on the www.PaperPlainz.com website. You can access these new materials by becoming a full member. We also have lots of resources (over 200 videos, dozens of practice questions and a full-length Paper 1 SL and a full-length Paper 1 HL practice exam) that you can use by becoming a basic member (free of charge). Please let me know if you have any questions. I will be happy to answer them. Peter from the PaperPlainz Team

Hello IB Students, I have been working on a new IB Physics website (www.paperplainz.com) for the past months and it is now open. The website has over 800 past exam question video solutions (all Paper 1 and Paper 2 SL and HL questions from May 2016 until November 2018), practice exams and a growing questionbank (for now Paper 1 only, Paper 2 questions are coming soon!). Many of these resources are free of charge. Click here to check out the website: www.paperplainz.com If you would like to watch some of the videos on Youtube, just follow the link below: https:

Hello everyone, I'm back with some new free videos ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ This time it's about a workshop (six 10 minutes videos) to help you prepare for the Physics SL/HL exam. Here is an overview. Video #1. where you can get started with a simple quiz and learn: Which topic typically has the least marks allocated to it? And which topic the has the most marks? (same is true for SL/HL, Paper 1 or 2) Video #2: where you learn useful details about the exam, such as: The relative weighting of each exam. For instance paper 3 is relatively easy and worth as much as paper 1 (

Hello IB survivors ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I'm Giacomo the webmaster at Studynova.com. You might now Studynova for Mitch Campbell physics and math videos (see the pinned post in this same forum) Anyway we just released a new physics SL+HL online revision course. The course is not 100% free BUT we have many free videos you can use to revise... no string attached! All videos have (somehow) funny jokes that can make you smile All 5 videos from topic 1: Measurement and Uncertainty Uniformly accelerated motion topic 2: Mechanics Important definition of thermal physics (topic 3)

I find Richard Thronley videos extremely helpful in understanding chemistry concepts (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCnKyCBclmK1dqPj9r3iw5gA), anyone have any good youtube channels but for Physics HL?

LIke Mitch Campbell (forum below), I've made IB Physics videos. About 90% percent of the SL and HL core syllabus (new syllabus 2016) is complete. I have also completed the SL portion of the Engineering physics option (Rotational Dynamics and Thermodynamics). The syllabus very closely and I include many sample IB problems. Many students have emailed and reported dramatic improvements in their grades after watching the videos. Chris Doner (C. Doner's IB Physics) https://www.youtube.com/user/exportationality

Hey guys, I recently found a two youtube channels (one Chemistry, the other one Physics) that you may have already heard of here on IBS and that hopefully can help you improve your marks. Chemistry: http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCnKyCBclmK1dqPj9r3iw5gA Mr Thornley (Chemistry videos) covers all SL&HL topics plus options A + D. He has multiple playlists (the videos cover the syllabus point by point). Most of the videos are quite short (no more than 3min I'd say). Physics/ Maths SL: http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCeScLgPpwj1jZnN045CcVOg Mr Campbell also does a great job with his videos (I b

This is a video series on biology. Although itn't just for the IB, it follows the biology syllabus. I find it useful for revision - its well made and gives you a fun, quirky way to remember. ]

Since this is a new addition to the syllabus (well, since 2009), there aren't many practise exam questions on the topic. None that I can find anyway. In addition, the topic is rather large and I find it painfully boring to just read through the chapter and make notes. Thus, I was wondering if any of you could share some tips on how you're/you've tackled the topic and any useful/videos etc. From what I've seen, this is a topic that comes up quite often and forms a large part of paper 1 (which I'm terrible at) so I want to make sure I know it inside-out. Thanks in advance
