Hey , so I am starting the IB this September and I want to get into a university in the UK. And I wonder, whether they look at the grades you had before IB? Last school year I had quite serious health issues which resulted into more than 70% absence at school and very bad grades - including Cs and Ds. This school year my grades are quite average, depending on the effort I put in now they can result into either As and a few Bs (even straight As if I rewrite a few exams) or a mixture of As, Bs and Cs. I can prove the health issues from last year, but I have no excuse

Hi! I've been thinking a bit about university and where I want to go after the IB (I know it might be early to think about it, but I don't want to get a shock next year!) I almost know that I want to study psychology (haven't start reading the subject yet, but I find it interesting!) and I would really like to study in the UK. Hi all, Bath, UK will be the host of one of the IBWSC from 27th July to 4th August this year. Just wondering who here will be going for the conference, it would be so interesting to get to know you in advance, should we meet up sometime during the trip. Looking forward to see all of you there!

Currently, I am taking Math HL, Physics HL, Business HL and French SL, English SL and Economics SL. I chose math and physics hl so that i would be able to go to the UK to study engineering in university. Im struggling in math hl and dont feel like its for me. My first question would be what combination i should change to, as i also heard that business was not a respected subject by universities. my possible combinations are as follows: HL: Physics, business, econ SL: math, english french or HL: Physics, Econ, english SL: Business, math, french my second questions is about universities. i

Hi, does anyone have any recommendations of universities in the UK offering the courses of anything relating to law and/or business? Possibly a uni that offers both international business or law would be nice as well. If not, could anyone suggest good spots in the UK for studies that you could also could go traveling quite a bit. Thanks!

I am in IB1 but in the summer i shall have to make the choice of where i want to go and what i want to study. Up till now i have always wanted to study marketing, but that was something i was just good at, liked and is what my teachers told me that i should do. Now i have an interest in Astronomy and it is something i always just enjoyed reading about or learning about. This is why i thought of doing astrophysics, now we get to the complicated part, i did not take physics ever before in my life so that would mean i would have to do an foundation year physics, also my maths is not good enough t
