Hey guys, I had a quick question -- I have recently heard that students cannot have any gaps in their CAS timeline. In other words, I heard that we are expected to have at least one ongoing CAS experience throughout all of Grade 11 and 12. Is this true?

Hi people, for a TOK project I´m required to contact at least one student from every continent except mine (namely Africa, Asia and Europe, since I´m from America) and ask them some questions about how they were raised with respect to a specific topic. If any of you could help me that would be great. Our team has Asia and Europe down, but we really need to make contact with someone from Africa. Thanks!

Hello, I'm in my first year of IB and I am starting on my EE. I'm interested in crimes and criminals, so I chose Psychology as my topic. The thing is that there isn't an IB psychology class in my school. Whenever I choose a topic (I've gone through several - like psychopaths, motives, currently on neuroscience and basis of criminological behaviour) my teacher tells me that maybe I should change my perspective - as in change my subject because he knows I'll be interested as long as my topic's related to crimes and criminals. I'm really not sure what I should do though. Every question I come u

Hello everyone! Being an ex-IB student, I am aware of how grueling the course can be, especially when it gets to that stage of the course when one must decide their university majors, and in essence, their careers. My friend and I found that this decision was a very big step at such an early age, not only due to the course pressures we face but also because of how unfamiliar we are with how the 'real world' functions, alongside fears of choosing a course that turns out unfavorable. For this reason, we came up with the concept of having a website that allows high school students to get in t

Hey guys! There are a lot of questions in here regarding the IB program and how it is like. Therefore we are going to make a youtube series on the topic, where we show exactly how it is like to be an IB student. We will go deeply into the topic. If you want to have an excuse for doing anything else than studying chemistry or economics this is probably the excuse you want! Please feel free to comment below and to tell us what you want us to make a video about! (Yeah I know that you are all sad and miserable and do not want to comment below or watch the video, but this forum is the only place

Just write things only IB students say! : I can't go tonight, I have to study. Will that count as CAS? I would kill myself, but I don't have time for that. I got so much things to do, but i don't know where to start and I'm running out of time. I'll just wake up early to finish the assignment. I REALLY need to start working in my EE. Extra(?): In Math HL test: Leaving your calculator at home is like leaving your first born at the gates of Hell. I know they are pretty lame, that´s why I hope some of you can come up with good ones

Hello, I'm trying to solve my doubts about the IB, so, it would be really helpful for me if you could leave your opinions about the IB Programme, things to improve, the strengths and weaknesses, etc. Also, I will be really glad if you could lend me a hand answering this poll I had done: The link for the survey (more info. inside): English: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1V487MCYUxNSij054xMCcCpROac_vVTpXxCFzQ_FUYtg/viewform?usp=send_form Spanish: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/14rl6HmVjESE5SaCMsRyJT1J_aTCjPoex_6Ug1r0bN2s/viewform?usp=send_form Thanks a lot for your feedback. Good morning/afternoon/night, I'm writing you to ask if you could lend me a hand with this poll: English: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1V487MCYUxNSij054xMCcCpROac_vVTpXxCFzQ_FUYtg/viewform?usp=send_form Spanish: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/14rl6HmVjESE5SaCMsRyJT1J_aTCjPoex_6Ug1r0bN2s/viewform?usp=send_form This form is basically intended to serve as a collection of data for resolving my doubts and the one of those who wish to pursue the International Baccalaureate's diploma in a future. Best regards, Brian HQ P.D.: Please forgive my English and thanks for your feedback. By the way

So I just watched this video about things that IB students don't say, which inspired me to create this thread/post on here. Comment by stating a quote that you think IB students never say, or things that IB students usually don't say. Here's a few to help you get started: 1) (While writing an essay) I'm still within the word limit! 2) I'll start paying more attention in TOK classes. 3) I have a lot of free time on my hands. I need more homework and essays to do.

Hola! so the thing is that I find it to be hilarious when students outside of the IB complain about their studies and their ''lack of free time'' so I would like to know what funny things the students outside of the IB complain about in your school? The students at my school complain because they have too much to do and that 1 homework, 1 homework checkup and 2 tests are too much for one week

Since we have such a mixture of countries, cultures and personalities on IB Survival, I was really interested in knowing how your day usually goes! Here's how my day went today (it doesn't have to be right to the minute- I'm just procrastinating here): 7:00- Alarm rings 7:10- Convince myself I have ten more minutes 7:30- Wake up shocked at the time. Ponder about Einstein and Relativity. 7:30 - 8:00 - Get ready for school 8:00- 8:15- Grab an assortment of things lying around my room (socks, headphones, eyeliner) 8:17- Check time on my phone. Mentally curse at myself for taking so long to get

A couple friends and I decided to make a video about things ib kids don't say (like all those other sh*t ___ say on youtube), for a little film festival thing that's happening at our school. Please do check it out and feel free to give any feedback Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ee9JKyTbgF0&feature=youtu.be Thanks!
