would it be possible to do my maths ia for sl on Carmichael numbers and fermats little theorem and simplify it down because i really dont know what other topic to go for i wanted to do on golden ratio of beauty but i heard its overdone so

So for the past weeks I have been thinking about my maths IA but I am just really unsure about my topic. I was thinking about a research question like this : How long would it have taken for every human to get covid 19 if there weren't any restrictions. I am doing maths AI in HL and I would just like to know your opinions or suggestions about my idea.

I want to do my Math IA in correlation, and I'm planning to look into the correlation between drinking age and drunk driving accidents in different countries but I cant find any reliable source or efficient data at all! does anyone know of a website that offer such data? I'm also considering to look into the correlation between drug use and poverty or drug use and crime rate or something in that filed. Is that appropriate? And does anyone know of a database or website that offer such data? Many thanks in advance!

Hi everyone. I'm having a little trouble with my Math IA., I would like to do the topic "The Mathematics behind Medical Testing", where I would speak about false positives / false negatives and the probability of getting them. However, I don't know where to get data from. Am I supposed to make up a hypothetical situation / disease and then make fake numbers for it ? Is that even allowed..? I would be using conditional probability to find the probability of a student testing positive for the XYZ disease, actually having the disease. I would be using the conditional probability

I am starting my math IA I have decided to choose the Monty Hall Problem as my topic. I was thinking about explaining the Monty Hall Problem using conditional probability and then expand the Problem by trying it on more than three doors like for example four or five doors in order to try and find a trend or a sequence or a general equation. Is this topic up to the level of the Math SL course and do you have any suggestions about things I should add to the IA. Thank you, your help is really appreciated.

Hello guys! About Math SL exploration, I am quite interested in researching something that has with BMI to do; how it changes over time.. Yeah, but I don't know where to start! Like, I'm seriously LOST. Am I supposed to perform some kind of investigation by hand? Or what??
