I am writing my Extended Essay trying to analyse the economic activity during Indian Demonetisation, did it serve its purpose? Because after it happened, people shifted to cashless payment, but when cash came in the economy, they quickly shifted back to cash. I wanted to analyse why did that happen, could you give me any tips? If you have any suggestions on any other way to approach the Indian Demonetisation scenario, that would be nice.

ECO INTERNATIONAL IA HELP!!! PLEASE
bluerain16 posted a topic in Economics and Business & Management
Please help me with my international economics IA. This is my article. https://www.straitstimes.com/asia/se-asia/philippine-central-bank-says-ready-to-rein-in-peso-volatility I'm not sure what exchange rate system the Philippine government is currently using. And I don't understand this bit "Espenilla said the peso's movements were market-driven, adding that the currency continued to draw support from the country's healthy macroeconomic fundamentals." Please explain the article to me. Thank you, people. -

Hey! I am writing my first article for IA from Microeconomics. I know that I have to focus on this particular unit (not brining up other topic from our syllabus). I am not sure whether what I want to describe is clearly a micro-case. It's an article about imposition of minimum wage in Ontario, the potential effect of which would be job losses. As the topic is a microeconomic one, I'm not sure whether the solution that I aim to propose is (unemployment is a part of MACROeconomy in the syllabus). I was thinking about offering subsidies to firms to increase the production and the

Hey guys So Im in IB Yr 1 and we finished micro. We had a test on theory of firms (P1 and P3 format) and in that a got a 3. So my teacher said took a retest today, and that went bad too. I dont have the results yet but dont expect more than a 4. So what should I do? Should I take Math HL (My teacher says I'm capable, but then it'll be a lot of catching up) and Eco SL or Psych HL and drop eco entirely? (again a lot of catching up) But I feel more inclined towards Psych Pls give inputs thanks I hate IB

Hey guys So I'm just practicing some questions from Ellie Tragakes (http://osboskovic.edu.rs/dev/gimnazija/sites/default/files/pomoc_u_ucenju__ib_1_exam_practice_paper_1.pdf) for macro. Now some of them are pretty straightforward. Can you please go through some questions and find out if any of these have a chance of coming in the finals or will they be more complex? Also the questions in this for unemployment are limited, so is unemployment a very small part of the syllabus in the finals? Thanks

I have exactly 1600 words for my TOK essay - doesnt include KQ heading, footnotes, bib and cover page. and I have exactly 4000 words for my Eco EE - doesnt include headings, diagrams, diagram labels, calculations, formulas, footnotes, bib, appendix, abstract, table of contents and cover page. Is it okay or too risky? I've re-checked the word count at least 3 times.

Hey guys. So I'm doing a mock IA on this article http://www.southwales-eveningpost.co.uk/Minimum-alcohol-price-law-Wales-say-Labour/story-28029919-detail/story.html and its my first time writing an economics IA. I have written around 400 words however i don't know if I'm going on the right track. So initially I've talked about the article as a whole. Then about price ceiling (while defining it) and its effects (like excess supply) followed by a paragraph on how the government can combat the excess supply. Lastly i did a stakeholder analysis. (all adding up to around 400 words) I just wanted

Hey guys! Just wondering if it was possible for anyone to provide me with a link or refferal to a website with updated notes for the May 2016 exams for Economics, would be greatly appreciated as my school only provides us with a couple of economics course books. If anyone knows of any other full notes on any of the other subjects, that would be greatly appreciated as well! From a very stressed fellow Ib student, Aseem

I don't have a background of writing long and profound answers, I try hard but sometimes work tends to be a little superficial.(especially TOK) Any tips on how to develop this habit? Subjects: English Lit. HL French HL Economics HL Biology SL Math SL Theatre art SL

I needed some help in choosing an article for a commentary in development economics. I've done one commentary on micro so far but I can't seem to understand what a commentary on development economics would entail. What sort of theory and/or diagrams would one use in the commentary? And regarding the article, I assume it should be something related to "Economic Development", so I wanted to know whether one of these two articles would be suitable and what sort of analysis would need to be carried out. http://www.sierraexpressmedia.com/archives/57245 http://www.ibtimes.com/africa-pursues-developm
