  1. Hello! I am a junior in the IB programme and my IA rough draft is due next week and I was marking mine and i wanted to know if anybody knows what the boundaries are between a 7 and a 6. After marking me and my friends marking it, I got a 22/24 and I dont know whether that is a 6 or a 7! I saw that in 2016 this would be considered a 7 but I could not find any further information! Can anybody help me with this? Thanks 😊
  2. Out of love for all you fellow IB survivors, I've done my research and made my notes and will post up the grade boundaries to all subjects I am aware of the grade boundaries for - apologies in advance that there are some subjects I don't know at all, or only have the HL for Group 1 English A Literature HL 1: 0 - 17% 2: 18 - 32% 3: 33 - 43% 4: 44 - 56% 5: 57 - 68% 6: 69 - 80% 7: 81%+ English A Literature SL 1: 0 - 16% 2: 17 - 30% 3: 31 - 42% 4: 43 - 55% 5: 56 - 68% 6: 69 - 80% 7: 81%+ Group 2 Spanish B HL 1: 0 - 13% 2: 14 - 27% 3: 28 - 46% 4: 47 - 60% 5: 61 - 72% 6: 73 - 86% 7: 87%+ Spanish B
  3. Hey, I came across this document with all the grade boundaries for each paper and assignment. Hope this helps! 201405_Grade_Boundaries.pdf
  4. Hi! I really need help. I got my results today and am considering retakes. In math studies SL I got 5: Projekt: Moderated down from 15 to 12 Paper 1: 49 Paper 2: 50 Total scale mark: 56 Grade: 5 My question is, should I ask for a remark to possibly get a higher grade on my projekt? When I do retakes next year it would help to have a few extra points already set from my internal asessments. Or, is it not worth it as IA only counts 20% and I can still get a 7 if a get 7's on both paper 1 and 2 during retakes? (Worth mentioning is that if I am remarked down 2 points I will get a total
  5. Hi! I'm doing HL history, and I'm just wondering what is required in order to pass? Do I need to have 4 or more on all papers (and IA), or is it enough to have a 4 all together? Could I for example have 6 on IA, 5 on paper 1, 4 on paper 2 and 3 on paper 3, and still pass?
  6. Hello IB survivers I was wondering if anyone of you guys managed to get some overall grade boundaries from their coordinators, I managed to to get History SL route 2 peacemaking ones, so whoever has some grade boundaries for may 2012 examinations, please place them here for the general benefit and future reference (for IB students practicing past papers etc) History SL Route 2-Peacemaking Overall grade boundaries 1:0-10 2:11-23 3:24-32 4:33-43 5:44-54 6:55-65 7:66-100 Hope we manage to get the grade boundaries for all IB subjects ( or the most popular at least)
  7. Does anyone know the final grade boundaries for IB Math SL exam from 2011? Not the individual ones for the papers but the final ones that are out of 100
  8. Hey guys, What do you think the grade boundaries will be for the IB Math SL exam for paper 1 and paper 2? What do you think the holistic scale will be for a 4 out of 100?
  9. Hey guys, I took the math SL exam a couple of days ago for TZ1, and I honestly think it was much harder than anticipated and harder than past exams. For those of you that took in TZ1, what did you guys think of it? Hard, easy, challenging? Also, do you think the mark boundaries will shift downwards because I honestly think I'm going to fail and all i've been doing is crying. Please help!
  10. Does anyone know of the mark boundaries for IB Math SL from the years 2010 and 2011? A mark boundary which tells you what you multiply the score from paper 1 and what you multiple the score from paper 2 and what you multiply that score from your IA, and when added, it would give you a composite score out of a 100 which you match up on the final mark boundaries. I found one from 2008 and 2009 but was wondering if there are more recent ones. Thanks.
