  2. banned because you are not studying for your exams
  3. Hello, i would like to ask people who know whether the detailed marks on each subject will be sent to the universities. Meaning that whether after the results are published they will receive a report with only e.g. 7 physics 7 economics 7 ... 2 extended essay tok or they will have a detailed view like : 7 economics hl percentage 79% or even more detailed like: economics hl 7/7 total 75% paper 1 78% paper 2 69% .... Thanks
  4. YES YOU NOTICED TOO. THE QUESTION ABOUT INTENSITY OF THE TWO SOUND SOURCE RIGHT??? I SAW IT AND LEFT IT. PAPER 1 WAS NICE I THINK I GOT 25/30. PAPER 2 NOT VERY VERY GOOD I DIDNT STUDY A LOT BUT GENERALLY IT WAS EASY EXCEPT FROM THE INTENSITY. PAPER 3 WAS NEAT!!!
  5. paper 3 was easy. CPI question was a bit tricky because it was giving the costs of items (a b c d e) and the question was saying find the weekly cost as i remember and it didnt want you to find an average just to add them for both years and then inflation was (weekly cost 2011 - weekly cost 2010)/weekly cost of 2010 x 100. the final subquestion of question 2 was a bit*h and i saw it in the end... this spared me the 90 percent.... about the core rate of inflation... i thought that it was the base rate so i said that a year is need in order to see the inflation relative to this year... whatever
  6. LOL AND LIFE GOES ON HAHAHAHAH
  7. For the last point thanks for saying because i just realised it and i noticed she is a moderator and she has to merge post because of spamming. Thoughtlessness exactly. Anyway i fixed it and back to our thread now. You shouldn't think of taking days off in national and religious events as holidays since they only take few days. It is no excuse for not working. It is like saying that we should work all days a week to please our employers. NOT REALLY. I contribute as long as he gives me space. I am not the type that comforts himself by giving other people the right to suffocate me and i believe
  8. Simply i will put it in a formula for you : Weighting x mark + weighting x mark + weighting x mark = Y% mark for example in economics is for paper 1 is out of 50 hence for example in economics you would put for paper 1 the weighting that is 30% or 0.3 times the mark for example 40/50 and you would do this for the others and the sum would give you your score.
  9. Gaby, on 04 May 2013 - 16:48, said: You dont have to merge them but just merge a small part of it.... Secondly i take my point back for my country that it doesnt give days off in religious holidays. it gives you and it is ur right and as you can see the same goes for india and i imagine for other countries as well... Thirdly thank you for repeating the point that the employer doesnt case because it is a free market and for mentioning the obvious about your employment contract. Companies in the private sector are NOT charities true but most of them totally respect your religious holidays even
  10. I totally disagree with all the points that you raised... Firstly the student who posted this topic didn't assume that the IB's official religion is orthodox Christianity, you did... Secondly it is totally wrong to assume that in your work they dont respect the fact that you have a national or religious holiday. Doing the IB teaches you to fight for your working rights as well as to respect all groups of people regardless of belief, religion, ideology, race or any other variable. Doing the IB means that you get to have many working opportunities all over the world and if a job doesn't allow yo

  12. the economic maths paper is paper 3. paper 1 is on micro - macro. paper 2 is a data response exercise with international economics and development economicx. however this format is new meaning it will start in the time that we start the exams. the maths that you will need regard mostly costs ie. curves equations equilibrium with indirect tax. there are some in macro like inflation etc. and terms of trade in international trade, gini index. there are more. check your book in the hl section and wtudy everything with numbers and equations. good luck to our mock exams
