  1. Wow, thank you so much for your detailed response! I had no idea that French ab initio could do so much! Did you feel you had to put a lot of extra time into French ab initio in comparison to your other subjects in order to do so well in it?
  2. Thanks so much! Do you think that it was worth it?
  3. Hi! I am currently considering French ab initio and I just have a few questions for those who currently take it/have taken it. Do you find that it is hard to master the grammatical concepts/vocab/and such? Is it fairly difficult to get a 7 in this subject? How do you find the IA's and examination papers? Thanks so much in advance!
  4. I'm doing HL psych as well! I'm quite looking forward to it actually cause it seems pretty interesting!
  5. Hi, I was just wondering how big of a part your IB HL subjects play in terms of being accepted for a specific major in universities in the US. For example, if I did not take higher chemistry, would I still be able to take courses related to Biology/Biochemistry? Also, would doing an addition SAT II subject test in Chemistry suffice for the more selective universities? Thanks in advance!
  6. Hahaha thank you! I am now considering changing my science to biology and then maybe changing from Geography to Economics. However I know it's a stupid reason but many of my friends are doing Geography HL which is probably what's preventing me from making my final decision :/ I shouldn't base my subject choices based on the teachers/people right?!
  7. Wow, thank you guys so much for your input! I really appreciate it!
  8. ^ Yeah it was, thanks so much! It's so annoying because I want to learn both.. so I'm now considering if I should swap psychology with one of them so I'd be able to take both.. but I'm scared that it'll be quite hard since I'll be taking up two new subjects at HL. And I also really like psych! I really hate making decisions
  9. Granted but your fingers turn numb once you reach out to close your door. I wish I wasn't so indecisive
  10. ^ I've heard that universities may look down on applicants who are chinese but study the language at B level. You might want to try taking up a language at ab initio level or something, but that's just what lots of other students/teachers have told me, so it's not official or anything :/
  11. ^ Really? That's awesome! Thanks Economics does seem pretty interesting! Oh yeah, I saw an article online which said "learning about money seems to be a great way to make money" hahaha!
  12. Another soon to be slave student of the IB programme right here! What subjects are you guys taking?
  13. Thanks so much for the advice! I'm not too bad with numbers so hopefully the quantitative part won't be too bad!
