Hi! From personal experience, www.smashingscience.org works really well. It has got tons of questions with markscheme for both HL and SL Chemistry. You can find both Unit by Unit and General revision documents. Most questions are past IB examination questions, so they help a lot... Greetings!

Do IB teachers have access to IB's official past papers?
omathtinez replied to IBstudent678's topic in Maths HL & Further
Hi! In theory, they should be able to access a limited amount of past papers for free, as long as your school is registered as an IB World School… Or at least that’s what I’ve heard from my teachers. Note, however, that they might want to keep them for Mock exams or similar, which might be the reason why they are not wanting to give you access (this is what is currently happening in my school). Hope this was somewhat helpful. Greetings! -
Hi! Your choices seem completely fine! I am also taking four 4 HL's (will start Year 2 in September) and for now it has all been fine, love your motivation. What is it exactly that you want to do in the future? I'm asking this because Physics and Math AA are quite demanding subjects, and at HL even more. If you want to do something like Architecture, Design, Music... both are completely sensible choices. However, if you are not going to need them in any way in two years, you might want to reconsider them. Not trying to discourage you, if you still want to take them, then please go f

Wigging out about balancing the IB and my life
omathtinez replied to mirs_birs's topic in General Discussion
Hi! I started the IBDP last September. At least to me, IB is not as difficult as many people make it seem. Although the workload is quite significant, having a stable study routine makes it much easier. Make sure you are proactive when it comes to learn (try to always do the "recommended" homework), and try not to procrastinate. Even on days without homework, try to spend a couple of hours revising what you did in class or reading about the next topics. This habit may sound somewhat exaggerated ("If I have got a free day, why should I spend time studying?"), but it has been key to me throughou -
Hey everybody! As part of our CAS, a friend and I created an IB Math YouTube channel a few weeks ago: Find it here. It is an open channel (you can send your videos to our email, and we will review them and post them with your credits). Collaborating with us can undoubtedly count towards your CAS activities! Besides, in case you needed to revise for any specific topic that you don’t fully understand, make sure to check out our videos! Any questions, I will be more than pleased to answer them to you as soon as possible. Thanks!

Hi, I am currently doing IB and taking both Chemistry and Physics at HL. I haven’t had to decide between the two, but I could still give you some advice. You’ll definitely see more math in Physics, and Chemistry will involve a bit more of memorisation. I’d say both are equally challenging, but if you’re taking Math AA HL, then Physics might be somewhat easier. To me, Physics requires more logical thinking, and if you’re generally good at it, then it could feel easier. Regarding Organic Chem, remember that this is only 1 of 11 topics (without taking into account the optional one), and
