  1. While AP Exams and classes can be very challenging, I think that the amount of work in the IB program makes it more difficult. That's not to say one is better than the other, each program has different benefits and people should choose depending on what their goals are/what they want to get out of their high school experience.
  2. For the first reflection in your RPPF, you should talk about how you choose your topic, what kind of research you've been doing to prepare to write your paper, and maybe some of your plans moving forward. Hope that helps a little, good luck with your EE!
  3. May I as what country you just moved to/are looking at universities in? My knowledge doesn't really go beyond the US as far as university/college is concerned so I don't know if I can help you unless that happens to be the case 😂
  4. Could you do a World Studies EE since you're compining history and psych?
  5. I definitly think my vote would go to physics, I might just be really bad at the subject though.
  6. I think your KQ is just too specific to the RLS you choose. Try and make it broader so its about knowledge more so than it is about your RLS. I would really recommend looking at your RLS and finding aspects of the Knowledge Framework it relates to or even specific AOKs. If you explain your RLS a little more I can try and help you fix your KQ.

A sample EE in the visual arts from 2007.
  8. You should have IAs for History, all the sciences, all the maths, and I think thats it for the most part. Other classes have different exam grades that replace it (such as IO in Languages A and B). The weighting differs from subject to subject and you can find specific information on the IB website but it's not a huge part of your grade necessarily. I would recommend thinking of your IAs as a good cusion for your exams in those classes, so you want to make sure you do really well. Due dates differ from school to school, and so does the time it takes. Sorry if I was unable to fully answer
  9. I would just recommend you pick the question you're most interested in, just make sure you have lots of research materials available for it. Don't stress to much about your initial question, mine RQ for my EE changed about 5 times durning my research and revision.
  10. Hi atharv12356576876, I think your analysis seems really well thought out, I just don't know if it is very relevant to the global issue you've chosen. I'm unfamiliar with the text to which you are referring so I don't know how much help I can be to you. From what I just read of your analysis it sounds more like internal bias or discrimination and I didn't see much that was specific to the administation of justice (but maybe you get into that more later).
  11. I think it varies from school to school. I know that my school allows this though, for us we are just required to provided some sort of evidence that we are doing it (like the pictures of your smart watch you mentioned). So it should be okay as far as CAS goes as a whole, I would just check with whoever is overseeing it at your school to be safe.
  12. Thank you for the advice! I'll try to find some more recent examples to reference.
  13. Well it has been a couple months since you posted this so it's likely you've already made your decision by now. HL Visual Arts is a really great course and you don't need to be good at drawing to do well. IB focuses a lot on your artistic process and the ways in which you improve over the course of two years. Also, you don't have to draw if you don't want to, you can experiment with photography, watercolor, painting, installation, sculpture, etc. I'm even doing glass blowing for part of my Art portfolio so I think you would do just fine in the course.
  14. That's exactly what I needed to know, thank you so much!
