  1. Hi guys!! For paper 2 topic 9 (Evolution and development of democratic states) we are supposed to study two different democratic states. I am going to study USA and Germany. But I was wondering if for Germany I could only study the period of Weimar republic or if also I needed to know the period after Hitler as well. Thank you! Any help is welcome.
  2. Hi guys, I am doing my EE on english B and I was wondering if anyone had some tips or an EE in english B to share... Thank you
  3. Hey guys! I assume we are all having trouble to do cas experiences during quarantine... Does anyone have an idea of a cas experience that can be done while at home? Thank you!
  4. yes of course, I am new to this website, so let me know if you can't access the documents. I got paranoid because of MountEETOKIA following reply, so I can share three IAs that I found on the internet that really helped me instead of mine. It's nothing personal, but just want to make sure that I get my diploma, hope you understand, anyone can access this post. I have also attached guidebooks, which really helped me during the process, they can be extremely useful. Good luck! 5. I am doing my EE on English B, so I guess it is similar. I am doing category 2b though, so it might be a little bit different. I believe that any language B is focused on the language itself rather than other things. So, what you should do is analyse the language on the poem you want to approach. I am taking Spanish A, and we use several tools to analyse different texts. It is unlikely that the IB will ask the same thing they ask from Language A to Language B. You should look at examples of Spanish B EEs, but on category 3, as categories change the aim of the essay. Hope this helped. Good luck
  6. Let me know what you are interested and want to approach in so I can help you. Good luck!
  7. Hey! You could do it on how moral laws are or something like that. For example, murdering a human is immoral and illegal, but murdering a cow for example is legal, but is it immoral? You could talk about ethics, emotions, faith, RKS (certain religions don't allow you to eat meat) and reason maybe. If you want help formulating a knowledge question once you have your RLS let me know. Good luck!
  8. Hey! I would advise choosing a topic that you are interested in, and also that you studied in class. This will help you to study for the external assessment (exams), while doing your IA. For instance, I was studying authoritarian leaders (Hitler, Stalin and Mao), so I decided to analyse those that I struggled the most to understand, so while researching for the IA I would get familiar with it. I decided to compare Stalin's and Mao's five-year plans, as both of them were communist leaders, implying great resemblances between both. My point is, choose something you struggle with (but are interes

  10. Hi! I am not familiar with the topic, but I am taking history. What I advise you is to focus your research question as much as possible because of the word count. 2200 words may sound as a lot, but once you start writing, you may exceed the word count. So it is way easier if you have a focused RQ. Good luck!
