Hi~ I am writing my physics IA, and have come across a problem: I have data for six trials, and when I am calculating the uncertainty of its average values, which of the two methods should I use?: 1. (max-min)/2 method 2. standard deviation Should I use the first method or the second method for my average uncertainty for six trials? Which one is the method that is generally approved by IB and is capable of getting a level 7 in the internal assessment? Thank you!!

Hi, For my EE, I am writing on Economics, and I have already completed my first formal reflection session on RPPF. Then, I heard that my Economics teacher, who is my supervisor, will leave school next year when I am in Grade 12 and told me he won't be able to supervise me until the completion of the EE. Hii My IA idea submission is due tomorrow and I have no idea what I really want to do, but came up with the idea of optimization using differential equations. I thought of reducing the surface area of packaging in different shapes like sphere and prisms, and calculate the minimum point (minima) through second order differentiation equation. I am also planning to then apply this to different real life examples like Toblerone triangle prism or something like that.
