  1. For psychology, I would memorize 4-5 studies for each LOA that can answer every question. For Spanish, look up some articles on topics you like to test your reading comprehension. Also, the more vocabulary you know, the better you will do on Paper 2. As for math, you were right about doing past papers and practicing.
  2. ToK Essay, editing my Psych IA, and my Musical Links Investigation.
  3. I wish my school offered German. I am sick of Spanish. I also think that economics would be interesting.
  4. I have never watched Sherlock. NP likes rock music.

  6. Yup, Ozark born and raised. I'm not sure if I am going to continue the program to the finish but my mind is a bit more split on the issue. Lemme guess, you go to Central High School in Springfield. Yes. Are you going to the ToK thing on Thursday at Drury?
  7. Since you have already made it through over a year of the program, you might as well continue. In my opinion, it is better to have several acquaintances than friends. You can make friends and have fun in college. As for French, I would highly recommend Duolingo. It is a free website and an app that can help you work your way through the language. Also, do you happen to go to Ozark? I go to school in Missouri too.
  8. We are almost through the first quarter at my school, and HL Spanish is not going as well as I had planned. As of now, I think I have a B, and that will not work for me if I want to maintain my spot in the top ten percent of students in my class. I talked to my counselor, and she doesn't care if I switch, but my current Spanish teacher doesn't want me to transfer out of her class. I took the SL class last year, and I heard that the teacher is handing out the same assignments and bell work again, and I have all of it. I even have the old tests. If I transfer out of HL, I will have to talk to t
  9. What's the least-used sentence in the English language? "Isn't that the banjo player's Porsche?" What do you say to a banjo player in a three-piece suit? "Will the defendant please rise?" Female five string banjoist shouting at her boyfriend in a crowded shopping mall: "Don't forget, sweetheart, I need a new G string." My source:http://www.mit.edu/~jcb/jokes/
  10. I found sight reading (notes, not chords or TAB) easier after I did certain exercises. I had two that really helped: 1) Put three octaves of notes onto small cards (start from low C on treble clef, one note per card). Shuffle the cards, pick one, turn it over, and say out loud which note it is. Take your time at first, but then you'll start getting faster and better at it. Helps a lot with identifying really high and really low notes! 2) Sit with your guitar, close your eyes, pick a random fret, open your eyes, and figure out which note it is. Sounds stupid, but you'll automatically figur
  11. I want to major in music during college, but my sight reading is not great. Besides practicing, what can I do to improve my sight reading? If it helps, I am a guitar player. I am not good enough to get into Juilliard, but I would like to go to Berklee or another school that teaches contemporary music in addition to classical. Thank you, Roxy
  12. Try using Mozilla Firefox. It is the referred browser. I tried to access my scores on Safari and the same thing was happening to me. I already started downloading chrome. Will that work? Not sure. The IB website just says to use Firefox and I tried it and it worked. You can try it out though! I got it. 4 in Environmental Systems and 6 in Math Studies.
