  1. I'd remark Arabic because it's more subjective and it's very possible your score will go up. Chemistry may go up. French won't go up, you're too far away. I'm sorry if you feel like it was unfair, but the graders know what to look for and you must word things a particular way to get credit for your answers, and it's unlikely you'll get a large jump in points back if you send it to be regraded unless something unusual happened the first time around. Remember when you do a remark, they will remark your entire exam, not just one particular paper. You can't ask for just Paper 1 or so, it's all o
  2. For Arabic I am 1 point from a 5, I knew that they were very harsh for P2 and Written Task (where I got a 3) and I am sure of that. For Chemistry HL, I am 2 points from a 6, but all of the papers and IAs were 5s except for P3 which was a 6, so I don't know which component I will ask for a remark. For French, I knew they were not fair at all, I got 3 in P2 and 4 in Written Task, but I am about 11 points from a 6. Should I request for remarks? What is your advice?
  3. Sameera don't be disappointed!!! It was good alhamdullilah.. Well done!!! Man I got the same grades as yours in Chem and Chem EE... It seems that for both of them this is the average grade. For chem I was 2 points from a 6 !!!!!!
  4. I heard coordinators get them one day before , so those who desperately want them stalk them to know the results before hand
  5. I felt that the overall package was really good! I found it fair and easy for those who studied for May 2014. French B was very good for me, however i did not like P1 that much. The subject that I was most worried was math P1 which did not go that well and Chemistry P3. Otherwise it was fine
  6. Thank you so much, I'll really take your advice seriously ! Were you part of the new syllabus ? I heard they added 2 works of literature to increase the difficulty. I did French B Hl for may session 2014 and I was part of th new syllabus. I cannot add much to what those wonderful people said but to just practice writing regularly and let your teacher check it continously. When I first got into the course, I thought that by writing will really affect my grade. But after finishing my exam I thanked Allah and my teacher that it turned out really easy! And this all because she gave me the hardest

  8. I did option E as well and the calculation annoyed me so much! I did past papers from last year to 2010 and every single Ksp calculation was the same, then we get that! The remembering equations wasn't great either. I did options D and E as well! I think option D was quite nice, asking about the acids in the stomach and all was a give away and there was nothing that threw me off too much. For the Ksp equation in E, I completely ignored the concentrations given in the question and wrote as my assumption that the concentrations of the two solvents or whatever they were (can't even remember anymo

  11. So since 24 hrs is up, how did everyone find P1 and P2? I found P1 relatively good but I hated that text regarding discrimination. I loved P2, and I answered sante and section B. What about you?
  12. Now 24 hrs is up too for P3 tz2, how did everyone find it? I did options D and E, I found both options good overall but i hate the absurdity of option E regarding the solubility product calculation. In general it was harder than last year's...
  13. I found the two questions to be easiest in section B , regarding the conditions of hydrogenation I wrote the catalyst nickel, remember? The conversion of Allene to alkane, by the way in section A there was a question that 2-bromopropane forms both products what conditions did you put? One was an SN2 which formed propan-2-ol and the other was an elimination to produce propene. I found section B nicer than section A to be honest I'm just worried I completely messed section A up, question 1 took me over 30 mins to do I also found section B nicer than A... but to be honest there were some quest
